Common Issues & Fixes:

• Hydraulic or engine overheating: The radiator and hydraulic oil cooler pack up with dirt, leaves and chaff, especially in land clearing and ag work. Blow the cores out from the fan side daily in dusty conditions. If temps stay high with clean fins, check for internal plugging or leaks and replace the radiator or hydraulic oil cooler.
• Tracks derailing or wearing fast: Usually loose track tension, worn idlers, or a hooked sprocket. Keep tension at spec, clean packed mud out of the undercarriage, and replace sprockets when the teeth turn pointed. Swap sprockets when you put on new tracks.
• Final drive leaks, noise or weak travel on one side: Look for oil around the drive hub and listen for grinding. A machine that pulls to one side or creeps weak usually has a worn drive motor or final drive. See the C190 final drive options below.
• Loader arm or bucket drifting down: Internal cylinder leakage from worn piston seals. Rebuild the cylinder with a boom lift cylinder seal kit or a lift or tilt cylinder seal kit before the rod or tube gets scored.
• Weak charging or slow cranking: Clean the battery terminals and ground straps first, then test alternator output. Pre-PIN N7M457282 machines use the Delco alternator 87038475.
• Attachments won't lock or rattle on the plate: Worn coupler pins, bent handles, or a weak latching spring. Rebuild the plate with the coupler pin and bolt kit and new quick-attach handles.
• Machine won't start or shuts down with the operator in the seat: A failed seat switch breaks the interlock circuit. Check the seat wafer switch before chasing wiring.

• Run high flow only when the attachment needs it. Extra flow adds heat to the hydraulic oil, so keep the cooler clean on high-flow machines.
• Replace tracks, sprockets and idlers as a set. A new track on a worn sprocket wears out early.
• Grease the loader pivots and coupler daily. The Super Boom linkage has more pivot points than a radial-lift arm, and dry pins wear the bores.
• Keep your PIN handy. It is the fastest way to confirm engine, alternator and filter fitment.
