The New Holland C345 is a vertical-lift Super Boom track loader in New Holland's 300 Series, which launched in 2020. It uses the same 90 hp FPT engine and 9,000 lb tipping load as the C245 before it. The 300 Series added a forward-tilting cab, an 8-inch display with a backup camera, a roof window for watching the bucket at full height, and a choice of three auxiliary flow packages. Common Issues & Fixes:

• Hydraulic oil running hot on high-flow work: A mulcher or cold planer pulling close to 40 GPM all day builds heat fast. Blow out the cooler cores daily, keep the oil at the full mark, and change the hydraulic filter on schedule.
• Engine derate or emissions warnings: The SCR system needs clean, fresh DEF. Keep the DEF tank topped off, store DEF out of direct sun and freezing temperatures, and have warning codes read before running the machine hard.
• Low power or hard starting: Plugged fuel and air filters are the first thing to check on a high-pressure common-rail engine. Our C345 filter service kit covers the engine oil, fuel, in-line fuel, primary and secondary air, and hydraulic filters.
• Tracks derailing or wearing unevenly: Usually loose track tension, packed mud, or worn idlers and sprockets. Clean out the undercarriage daily, keep tension at spec, and replace the front idler, rear idler or sprocket once they show flat spots or hooked teeth.

Pro Tips:

• Match the flow package to the attachment. Enhanced high flow (35 GPM at 4,000 psi) and high flow (39.9 GPM) suit different tools, so check the attachment's requirements before you run it.
• Use the forward-tilting cab for cleanout. Tilting the cab gives full access to clear debris from the engine bay and coolers on forestry jobs.
• Replace tracks, idlers and sprockets as a set. A new track on a worn sprocket wears out early.
