New Holland Skid Steer Loaders: L325 (300 Series), L325 (older L-Series)
The current New Holland L325 is a mid-size vertical-lift Super Boom skid steer in the 300 Series, sold mainly in Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, Africa and South America. It runs an 82 hp FPT 3.2L turbo diesel and is rated at 2,500 lb operating capacity, with about 129 in of hinge pin height and 32 in of reach for loading trucks and hoppers. The L325 name was also used on an older New Holland skid steer from the L425 and L445 family. Its parts are listed in their own section below, so check which machine you have before ordering. Below are the 300 Series L325's specs, the problems we see most, and the replacement parts we carry for both machines.

Which L325 Do You Have?
The 300 Series L325 is a current-generation vertical-lift machine with an 8-inch display cab and an FPT F5C engine. The older L325 is a much smaller, earlier skid steer from New Holland's L425 and L445 family. Axle, drive and electrical parts do not interchange between the two. Check the model decal and PIN before ordering, or call us and we will confirm.
Common Issues & Fixes (300 Series L325):
- Oil leaking from the engine or crankcase pressure building up: A loaded-up crankcase breather pushes oil out at the seals and gaskets. Replace the crankcase breather filter 5801686484 on the service schedule.
- Cab blower only works on high: This is the classic sign of a failed blower motor resistor 47442580.
- Cab door cracked, sprung or not sealing: A poor door seal lets dust and noise into the cab. Replace the door with the door assembly kit NH200DK.
- Engine or hydraulics running hot: Hot climates and high-flow attachments push cooling systems hard. Clean the radiator and hydraulic cooler from the fan side daily and keep fluid levels at the full mark.
- Loader slop at full height: The Super Boom linkage has more pivot points than a radial arm. Worn pins and bushings show up as play at the bucket and should be replaced before they wear the bores.

Parts for the Older L325 (L425 / L445 Family):
Pro Tips:
- Confirm which L325 you own. The two machines share a name but almost no parts.
- Grease the Super Boom pivots daily. Dry pins wear the bores and add slop at full lift height.
- Let the turbo cool before shutdown. Idle for a minute or two after hard work to protect the turbocharger bearings.
- Have your PIN ready when you call. It is the fastest way for our team to source parts that aren't listed online.
