The New Holland C362 is the largest track loader in New Holland's 300 Series. It is a 16,100 lb vertical-lift Super Boom machine with a 114 hp FPT engine and a 6,200 lb rated operating capacity. It is built for heavy truck loading, land clearing and high-flow attachment work, and has a heavy-duty steel rear door and hood, LED work lights, and 41.6 GPM of available high flow. Common Issues & Fixes:
Low power, hard starting or engine derate: Check the two fuel filters and the air filters first, because a high-pressure common-rail engine is unforgiving of dirty fuel and air. Our C362 filter service kit covers the engine oil, both fuel filters, primary and secondary air, and hydraulic filters.
Emissions warnings or derate from the DEF system: Keep the DEF tank topped off with fresh fluid, store DEF out of direct sun and freezing temperatures, and have warning codes read before working the machine hard.
Hydraulic oil running hot on high-flow work: A mulcher or cold planer pulling 40+ GPM all day builds heat fast. Blow out the cooler cores daily, keep the oil at the full mark, and change the hydraulic filter on schedule.
Air filter restriction light or dusty intake: Land clearing loads the air filter quickly. Replace the primary air filter 87704244 when the restriction indicator trips, and change the inner air filter 8602996 every second or third primary change. Never clean the inner filter.
Tracks wearing fast or derailing: A 16,100 lb machine is hard on rubber. Keep tension at spec, clean packed debris out of the undercarriage daily, and avoid sharp pivot turns on concrete and rock. Replace with the C362 450 mm rubber track.
450 mm C-Pattern Rubber Track RTC00513S – sized for the C362's longer undercarriage. It does not interchange with the 450 mm tracks used on the C245 and C345.
Pro Tips:
Order the C362-specific track. The C362 has a longer undercarriage than the other 300 Series track loaders, so a 450 mm track from a C345 will not fit.
Change both fuel filters together. The C362 runs a dual fuel filter setup, and replacing only one leaves the injection system exposed.
Match the flow package to the attachment. Enhanced high flow runs at 4,100 psi, so check the attachment's pressure rating before you run it.
