Tier 4 Final aftertreatment - service implications The 410L's DPF and SCR systems are reliable when fed clean fuel and quality DEF, but they require attention. DEF tank must stay topped up. DPF will request periodic high-temperature regenerations. NOx sensors fail occasionally and trigger derate conditions. Factor aftertreatment service into the maintenance budget on L-gen machines.

Engine, transmission, loader, and hoe

The 410L's Tier 4 Final PowerTech diesel drives an AutoShift transmission through wet-disc brakes into planetary final drives. The engine runs cooled EGR, DPF, and SCR with DEF dosing - the full modern emissions configuration. AutoShift gives operators automatic shifting under load.
