The CX235C SR runs a Tier 4 Interim diesel through a hydrostatic dual-path drive into a steel-track undercarriage. The main hydraulic pump (load-sensing piston pump) drives boom, dipper, bucket, swing, and propel circuits through electrohydraulic control valves.
