Where the 1021F fits in the Case wheel loader line

The 1021F sits at the top of the F-series production wheel loader range, between the 921F and the larger 1121F. It carries Tier 4 Interim emissions, the F-series cab, articulated frame, and a power-shift drivetrain sized for large production work. The successor is the G-generation 1021G.

The 1021F was the largest production-class machine in the Case F-series wheel loader line until the 1121F arrived above it. Across the F-series, controls, cab layout, and ECU architecture share a common pattern, which means many cab, electrical, and climate components cross-fit across the 521F through 1121F range.

What defines the F-generation 1021

• Tier 4 Interim emissions. The F-series moved Case's large production wheel loaders to Tier 4 Interim with DPF aftertreatment and cooled EGR.

Engine, hydraulics, and drivetrain

The 1021F runs a Tier 4 Interim Case diesel through a power-shift transmission with DPF aftertreatment. The base engine drives a piston-pump hydraulic circuit for the loader and steering, and pulls accessory drive for the cooling fan, charge-air cooler, and air-conditioning compressor.

Loader hydraulics use a piston pump sized for the 1021's production loadout. Articulation steering uses paired steering cylinders pivoting the front and rear frame halves around the center pin. Service brakes are wet-disc, hydraulically actuated through a master cylinder and slave assemblies.
