What tilt cylinder fits a Cat 966H loader?

We carry several tilt cylinders for the 966H, including 2457484 for the 966H, 3562219 for the 966H and 966K, and 2448777 for the 966H and 972H. Because tilt cylinder fitment can vary by machine, confirm the part number against your loader before you buy.

Yes, Broken Tractor offers steering cylinder 3149336, which fits the 966G II, 966H, 972G II, and 972H among other machines. This part handles articulation control on those loaders. Verify the part number matches your machine to be sure it is correct.

Can I rebuild the hydraulic cylinder on an older Cat 966?

Yes, we carry replacement cylinder tubes for rebuilding older 966 machines. Tube 9J2433 fits the 966, 966C, and 966R, and tube 1334048 fits the 966G, 966G II, 972G, and 972G II. These barrels let you refresh a worn cylinder instead of replacing the whole assembly.
