What engine is in a Bobcat 743?

The Bobcat 743 uses a Kubota V2203IDI diesel engine, which is the engine our water pump is designed for. The same pump also covers the 743B and 743DS along with other 600 Series machines. Confirm your engine model against the fitment list before ordering.

Yes, Broken Tractor carries a new Kubota water pump (SKU 15521-73035) that fits the Bobcat 743, 743B, and 743DS. It replaces the coolant pump on the Kubota V2203IDI engine to keep operating temperatures stable. Verify the part number matches your machine to be sure of fitment.

Yes, the water pump under SKU 15521-73035 fits the 743B as well as the 751, 751G, 753, 763, 773, and other Kubota-powered 600 and 700 Series machines. Because fitment can vary by model and serial number, match the part number or confirm with the parts team at (800) 909-7060 before buying.

What are the signs a Bobcat water pump needs replacing?

Common signs include coolant leaks near the pump, overheating, and difficulty maintaining a stable operating temperature. The water pump circulates coolant through the Kubota engine block and radiator, so a failing pump can cause the machine to run hot. Our new replacement pump assembly restores proper coolant flow.
