The TD-15E is the E-series Dresser TD-15 - a heavy-duty crawler dozer purpose-built for large-scale earthmoving. The TD-15 family originated with International Harvester and continued under Dresser after the IH construction equipment line was sold off. The E-generation refined the heavy-class TD-15 platform with updated hydraulics, an improved operator station, and revised undercarriage components, and was eventually succeeded by the TD-15G.

In the Dresser hierarchy, the TD-15 sits between the mid-size TD-9 and TD-12 platforms and the larger TD-20 / TD-25 heavy-class machines. Operators run TD-15Es for grading, land clearing, mining-support roles, and large site-prep work.
