Ashleigh Harris
Operations Support Specialist based in Prairieville, Louisiana. The first voice many customers hear when they call — and the one keeping the wheels turning behind it.
If you've ever called Broken Tractor and been greeted by a warm "Thank you for calling Broken Tractor" before you even said your name, that was probably Ashleigh. She's been with the company for three and a half years, and in that time she's become what she calls — accurately — the behind-the-scenes glue.
"I'm the behind-the-scenes glue that keeps everything running smoothly. My goal is to keep everything organized and moving so our sales team can stay focused on what matters most: taking care of the customer."
Ashleigh's path to Broken Tractor wasn't planned. As she puts it, life had its own plan, and it ended up being exactly where she was meant to be. The team has become her people, and the customers — by the way she talks about them — clearly have too.
What's happening before the salesman picks up
Most customers don't realize how much work happens in the gap between the phone ringing and a salesman saying hello. On Ashleigh's end, she's already pulling up accounts, checking open orders, and quietly setting the stage so the conversation looks easy from the customer's side. That's by design.
It's the part of the job customers don't see — and the part she works hardest on.
What she wants customers to know
That Broken Tractor is on their side. Always. While a customer is waiting for an answer, Ashleigh and the team are already working in the background — tracking orders, checking details, finding answers. The goal isn't just to get something done. The goal is to get it right.
Off the clock
Ashleigh's favorite role in life isn't on the org chart — it's being a mom. Family is the thing she protects most fiercely, and when she's not at the office, you'll usually find her on the water, cooking outdoors with her people, or slowing things down enough to actually enjoy them.
It's the same instinct she brings to a customer call: pay attention to what matters, and don't rush the things worth doing right.
