Historical Notes
Introduced in 1945, the Farmall Cub was IH’s smallest tractor and became a popular choice for acreage owners and vegetable farms
Standard Cub units were painted IH Red, while the Lo-Boy variant (post-1955) offered a lower profile and, starting in 1960, was painted Federal Yellow
In 1963, International Harvester dropped the "Farmall" branding from the nameplate
The final Cub tractors were built in 1981, all finished in traditional red with updated decals and grille styling
Estimated over 200,000 units produced, making it one of IH’s most successful light tractors
