The Ford 3600 Utility Tractor is a durable, mid-sized workhorse built from 1975 to 1981 as part of Ford’s 600 Series. Designed for reliability and ease of service, it features a powerful 3-cylinder diesel or gas engine, strong hydraulic capacity, and optional live PTO.   • Loose steering wheel – replace worn bushings or sector shaft bearings

Serial Number Location

  • Location: On the flat pad behind the starter on the left side of the engine block

  • Format may include “C3600XXXX” or prefix like “6A” for year and plant code

Pro Tips

  • Use M2C134D spec fluid in hydraulic/transmission combo systems

  • Drain and clean the hydraulic sump screen every 500 hours to avoid lift sluggishness
