Case 621F Wheel Loader: 2012-2017 F-Generation Production Wheel Loader
The Case 621F is the 2012-2017 F-generation of Case's 621 production wheel loader - Tier 4 Interim Case diesel, DPF aftertreatment, power-shift drivetrain, and the F-series cab. It sits between the 621E and the current 621G in the Case wheel loader lineup.
Where the 621F fits in the Case wheel loader line
The 621F is the F-revision of Case's 621 platform - it sits between the 621E and the current 621G. F-generation brought Tier 4 Interim emissions with DPF aftertreatment and the F-series cab to the 621 platform. The 8603582 brake plate is a known cross-fit between the 621F, W130TC, and 721F.
Mechanically the articulated frame, power-shift drivetrain, and piston-pump loader hydraulics carry forward from the E-series. The F-series cab brought modern operator visibility and instrumentation, and the Tier 4 Interim Case diesel added DPF regeneration as a routine service item.

What changed from the 621E to the 621F
- Engine. Tier 4 Interim Case diesel replaced the Tier 3 E-series engine. Common-rail injection, electronic engine control, and cooled EGR are standard.
- Aftertreatment. DPF added for particulate control. Periodic high-temperature regenerations are part of routine operation, and DPF differential pressure sensor monitoring is required.
- Operator station. F-series cab with refined visibility, updated instrumentation, and improved climate control.
- Drivetrain. Power-shift transmission carried forward with refined control mapping.
- Hydraulics. Piston pump and electrohydraulic control valves with refined modulation.
Engine, hydraulics, and drivetrain
The 621F runs a Tier 4 Interim Case diesel through a power-shift transmission with DPF aftertreatment. Loader hydraulics use a piston pump with electrohydraulic control valves. The articulated frame uses a center pivot with steering cylinders on each side - the G109152 steering cylinder bushing is shared with the 521F, 721, and 821 series.
Brakes are wet-disc service brakes. Cross-fit brake plates and discs make parts sourcing easier across the 621F, 721F, and W130TC configurations - the 8603582 brake plate is a documented cross-fit. Power-shift clutch packs, planetary final drives, and axle seals are the recurring drivetrain wear items.
Common service items on the 621F
- Engine internals: Case Tier 4 Interim diesel pistons, rings, sleeves, bearings, gaskets. R49482 engine motor mount is a recurring service item.
- Aftertreatment: DPF service and EGR cooler service. Periodic DPF cleaning and differential pressure sensor monitoring are required.
- Fuel system: Common-rail injectors, high-pressure pump, lift pump, fuel filters, water separator. Tight water-separator filtration matters on common-rail.
- Cooling system: Radiator, water pump, thermostat, fan, charge-air cooler, hoses, belts.
- Loader hydraulics: Cylinder seal kits, piston-pump rebuilds, electrohydraulic control valves, hoses.
- Articulation steering: Steering cylinder seal kits, articulation pivot pins and bushings. G109152 steering cylinder bushing fits 521F, 621, 721, and 821 series.
- Loader components: Bucket teeth, cutting edges, bushings, pivot pins, quick coupler.
- Drivetrain: Power-shift clutch packs, transmission, axle seals, planetary final drives. Transmission shift lever assembly is a routine service item.
- Brakes: Wet-disc service brakes. 119433A1 and 119430A1 lined brake discs fit 621B/721B/821B with ZF axles; S300718 brake shoe, A12985 slave cylinder, and N8695 master cylinder are recurring items. 8603582 brake plate cross-fits W130TC and 721F.
- Electrical / ECU: Engine ECU, instrument cluster, sensors, wiring harness, telematics module. 87528688 AC blower speed resistor fits 521E through 1121F.
- Operator station: Seat, gauges, control levers, cab parts. 47880728 cab fresh-air filter on cab-equipped units.

Need a part for your Case 621F Wheel Loader?
Aftertreatment components, Tier 4 Interim engine parts, and brake/drivetrain components are the highest-value items on a 621F. Call our parts team with your serial number and we'll match the right component to your machine.
Request a PartWhat to verify before ordering
- Generation matters. The 621 platform saw multiple generations - confirm by serial before ordering year-specific parts.
- Serial number. Confirm the serial on the left machine frame near the articulation joint.
- Engine serial. Tier 4 Interim Case diesel internal parts must match the engine serial number.
- Aftertreatment configuration. DPF part numbers can vary across the production run.
- Axle variant. ZF-axle brake disc part numbers (119433A1 / 119430A1) are axle-specific - confirm the axle before ordering brake friction parts.
- Cab vs. ROPS canopy. Operator station equipment varied across the build configurations.
Why the 621F still earns a paycheck
The 621F is the Tier 4 Interim production loader from 2012-2017. DPF service is part of the routine; common-rail injection is standard; the F-series cab brought modern operator visibility and instrumentation. Parts availability across the 621 family is strong, and many wear items cross-fit between the 521F, 621F, 721F, and 821F.
Maintenance priorities on a 621F: clean fuel and tight water separation, DPF regen behavior, hydraulic system cleanliness, articulation pivot service, and brake disc/plate service when the wet-disc pack reaches its wear limit. Broken Tractor maintains parts coverage for the F generation alongside the broader Case wheel loader family.
