Where the 621F fits in the Case wheel loader line

The 621F is the F-revision of Case's 621 platform - it sits between the 621E and the current 621G. F-generation brought Tier 4 Interim emissions with DPF aftertreatment and the F-series cab to the 621 platform. The 8603582 brake plate is a known cross-fit between the 621F, W130TC, and 721F.

Mechanically the articulated frame, power-shift drivetrain, and piston-pump loader hydraulics carry forward from the E-series. The F-series cab brought modern operator visibility and instrumentation, and the Tier 4 Interim Case diesel added DPF regeneration as a routine service item.

What changed from the 621E to the 621F

• Engine. Tier 4 Interim Case diesel replaced the Tier 3 E-series engine. Common-rail injection, electronic engine control, and cooled EGR are standard.
• Aftertreatment. DPF added for particulate control. Periodic high-temperature regenerations are part of routine operation, and DPF differential pressure sensor monitoring is required.
• Operator station. F-series cab with refined visibility, updated instrumentation, and improved climate control.
• Drivetrain. Power-shift transmission carried forward with refined control mapping.
• Hydraulics. Piston pump and electrohydraulic control valves with refined modulation.

Engine, hydraulics, and drivetrain

The 621F runs a Tier 4 Interim Case diesel through a power-shift transmission with DPF aftertreatment. Loader hydraulics use a piston pump with electrohydraulic control valves. The articulated frame uses a center pivot with steering cylinders on each side - the G109152 steering cylinder bushing is shared with the 521F, 721, and 821 series.

Brakes are wet-disc service brakes. Cross-fit brake plates and discs make parts sourcing easier across the 621F, 721F, and W130TC configurations - the 8603582 brake plate is a documented cross-fit.
