Original generation vs. later 510 letter-suffix machines The original 510 is the pre-letter-suffix machine of the late 1970s and early 1980s. The 510B (turbo plus optional 4WD), 510C, and 510D followed and each added capability. Engine, hydraulics, and drivetrain
